Rokopol® F3000 is a polyether polyol manufactured in the KOH technology. The product has a form of homogenous, clear liquid. The product contains BHT free antioxidants and is marked by high purity and low emission. The product hydroxyl value at the temperature of 25°C is in the range of 53 - 59 mg KOH/g with dynamic viscosity of 460 – 520 mPas.

Rokopol® F3000 may be used for production of flexible polyurethane foams, in the continuous (slabstock) or periodical (batch) manufacturing system. By means of the polyol, flame-retardants (liquid and solid) and an appropriate selection of additives, (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents) combustion modified flexible slabstock foams with the rectangular section and the height up to 130 cm can be manufactured. Based on its excellent parameters the product may be widely used in the furniture industry for production of mattresses and as the comfort material for comfort furniture.

Main application advantages of Rokopol® F3000:

  • Possibility of producing combustion modified slabstock foams with density from 23 to 80 kg/m3, hardness range of 2-5kPa, and flexibility up to 45%;
  • The use of the product enables manufacturing foam with the breaking strength above 60 kPa and the relative tensile strength up to 90%;
  • Possibility of using the polyol with reactive polymeric polyols in order to reduce the foam hardness or to optimize: the foam cell openness and the relative tensile strength;

Most frequent applications of Rokopol® F3000:

  • Used for production of combustion modified flexible foams for flame lamination;
  • The polyol is used also in the construction industry, for production of mattresses and comfort furniture;
  • The product is used in the automotive industry for production of cockpits, headliners, seats, headrests, and bumpers;
  • The product is used  for production for conventional foams and combustion modified conventional foams (CME)
  • foams with good flame-retardant parameters
